More tests on photoshop. Figuring out how to apply colour and any finishing touches. The important thing was for them to appear as a cohesive set of images, yet not look identical, or use too many of the same effects in the same way.
I mainly played around with the effects of changing the layer modes, as well as the arrangement of the blocks of colour. Then halftones were introduced as a way to add colour but in a slightly different way, it also brings in a bit of texture.
