These points aren't really that big of a deal to anyone else, but for me, the country reference comes through better with this one, and it's more comedic in appearance (lanky limbs, wonky hat).
Although this won't be much of a consideration until I'm faced with making the hand-drawn GIF (and maybe the digital one...) but I will eventually have to think about media and how that will affect not only the overall appearance, but the animation too (e.g. some mediums could create more movement, like a wash of ink).
But I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
