Today I met with my collaborative group for responsive. We decided to go for the BEAR brief as this would give everyone one of us a chance to use the skills that relate to our separate disciplines; such as character design (animation), and type and layout (graphics).
Reading through the project brief again, we picked out what we deemed as the most important parts:
DEADLINE -> THURS 23rd MARCH, 11:59
• Deliverables: 3 yoyo card designs (front + back), a small paragraph explaining the theme/story of the cards, include BEAR logo, make sure cards are numbered
• Consider ideas for a 'free collectible' that children can get with the cards
• Target audience: 4-9 year olds, boys and girls
• Concept and ideas are key
• Should be educational, involve learning and facts - but not in a dry, boring way ("as far away from a school textbook as possible")
• BEAR is the central character
• The designs should be imaginative and fun
• "Be bold, and not safe. Think wild and keep it really fun"
