Could also be transferred to CAD, creating nets and templates that are suitable for laser cutting.

Illustrator > New document
- Think about paper size (what paper size could the net fit on to?)
- Stock (what stock would be best?)
Go to object > path > split into grid > set to 2 columns, 2 rows
Double click layer, select template box. This locks the layer, and means when printing it won't show up.
New layer called Net. Rectangle tool, hold alt, click in centre. 70mm x 70mm box.
Use selection tool, click on first box. Hold alt, and drag - creating a duplicate of the first box.
Making the tabs for the box. Using rectangle tool, create a shape that is 15 (w) x 70 (h).
Curve the edges of the tab by selecting both corners (using shift), then left click and shift whilst dragging the target circles, to curve the edges inward.
The tabs on the left of the box were made by copying the objects, pasting, going to object > transform > reflect
However, if this was sent to the laser cutter it would all be cut into separate shapes.
Copy the net by going select > all > edit > copy > paste.
Make a new layer called Fold Guides 1.
Go to edit > paste in place
Then lock this new layer and hide it
Then, go to Window > Pathfinder, and this box will appear.
Click the button on the farthest left under "shape modes" (unite), to make the net into one shape.
Now lock and hide this united layer, and unlock the fold guides 1 layer.
Fold lines now have a dashed outline.
Using artboard tool, hold alt and drag to create a copy of the artboard for the inside and outside of box. When printing, print this on the short-edge binding.
